SkillsUSA Regional Competition

24 SkillsUSA members attended the Regional Conference and place in numerous categories. Isabel Alonzo - 1st place in Extemporaneous Speaking; Caylen LeSure - 2nd place in Related Technical Math; Quiz Bowl (Hagan Larson, Esthelle Montebon, Oliver Hicks, Evan Brown & Jessi Wood) - 2nd place; Beverly Sanders - 2nd place in Prepared Speech.

IM Students take 1st Place
Industrial Maintenance Team takes 1st Place at a Science & Engineering Event at Ole Miss

On April , 2022, the Division of Outreach, the School of Engineering, and the CMSE at the University of Mississippi invited Mississippi students and teachers to participate in an exciting science and engineering event! The Industrial Maintenance team from CTC-East earned a 1st place finish in the Siege the Castle challenge.

Are you interested in becoming apart of a CTC-East program? Visit our campus on Feb 1 from 5:30-6:30 or Feb 28 from 6-7 to learn more. Our programs include: Health Sciences, Industrial Maintenance, Information Technology, Law & Public Safety and Transportation Logistics. LPS Students
Law & Public Safety Participates in Kid Ink-A-Fication

Saturday October 30, the Law & Public Safety class participated in the Kid Ink-A-Fication event at Heartland Church Trunk or Treat in Southaven. The students completed and handed out 90 child identification packets that included the child's information, fingerprints, photo, and DNA swab. Students earned community service hours as well as a chance to help educate parents on being prepared in the case a child comes up missing. A huge thanks to the DeSoto County Sheriff's department for joining the class during this event.
