Advanced Manufacturing Students Put Hydraulics to Work! 🚗🔧

Learning comes to life in the Advanced Manufacturing program! Our students recently put their engineering and problem-solving skills to work by creating a hydraulic car lift using Hot Wheels cars as their miniature vehicles.

Through this hands-on project, students explored how hydraulic systems work while designing, building, and testing their own lifts. Using a fun, scaled-down model allowed students to see engineering concepts in action while practicing creativity, teamwork, and troubleshooting skills.

We love seeing our students take what they learn in the classroom and turn it into something they can build, test, and improve! Great job, Advanced Manufacturing! 👏

🚔 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🇺🇸

Our Year 1 Law Enforcement students had the opportunity today to take a field trip to Memphis to visit the U.S. Marshals Service office and Federal Building!

Students got an inside look at the federal law enforcement system and learned more about the roles, responsibilities, and career opportunities available within federal agencies. Experiences like these give our students the chance to connect what they’re learning in the classroom to real-world careers in law enforcement.

We’re proud of our students for taking advantage of this opportunity to learn, explore, and see where a career in law enforcement could take them! 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️
